Player of the Day: Ken Boswell hit a bases loaded double and knocked in all three runners in the top of the 8th inning to break a 1-1 tie.  Houston won the game 4-1.

Pitcher of the Day: Jon Matlack allowed two runs in a complete-game win over the Montreal Expos. Matlack won his 19^th game and will have a shot at 20 wins later in the week.
