Joe Morgan of the Cincinnati Reds is the Player of the Week after batting .875 (7 hits in 8 at bats) with six walks, seven RBI, and five runs scored. The top three batters in the Reds' lineup scored a lot of runs in the first three games -- Pete Rose scored 8, Ken Griffey scored 7, and Morgan scored 5. The Reds should be 3-0, but the bullpen couldn't hold a 4-run lead in the last two innings of one of the games. Dave Kingman makes an appearance at the top of the stolen base leader board -- probably the only time this year we'll see his name at or near the top of that list.
