- The Cleveland Indians have lost six straight games to fall to 5.5 games behind the New York Yankees in the AL East. Buddy Bell and Boog Powell have both been in nasty slumps.
- Jim Palmer has three complete game victories in a row and now leads the AL with 18 wins.
- Coggins and Waterbury don't lead the league in any pitching categories. Something got hosed in the stat compiler. I'm hoping it hangs in there long enough for me to finish the replay.
