The Yankees are continuing their winning ways and remain atop the AL East. Boston is right on their heels. Oakland and the surprising Texas Rangers are competing for the AL West lead so far. There must have been a lot of rainouts early in 1976. I'm using the "as played" schedule and there are a lot of days where only 2-3 games were played.
