April 28 (Bloomington, MN) - Bert Blyleven had a no-hitter for 8 2/3 innings until Buddy Bell hit a solid single to right to break it up. Bert got the next guy out to get his first win of the season. This is the second straight day that a starter has taken a no-no into the 9th inning!
Maybe he'd have better HOF credentials if Buddy Bell hadn't messed up his no-hitter.
