Player of the Day: Darrel Chaney went 4 for 4 with a home run and 4 RBI as the Atlanta Braves beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-2.

Pitcher of the Day: Joaquin Andujar outpitched Rick Reuschel and shut out the Chicago Cubs 3-0.
