National League - Week 14 in Review

The National League has reached the All Star Break and there are a couple of surprises. The New York Mets faltered a bit in the first week of July but they are now in first place in the NL East by 4.5 games over the Philadelphia Phillies. The Mets are 11 games better than their actual pace. Another surprising team is the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs are eight games better than their actual pace.

The NL West is playing out as expected, except the LA Dodgers are below .500 and are 5 games behind their actual pace.

It's time for the All Star Game. I'll choose the starting lineups based on the "All Star Votes" on the statistics page and then figure out the reserves using the rules (at least one representative per team, etc.). After the All Star Game I'll resume the replay and alternate between leagues.
