1976 National League - Week 10 in Review

The New York Mets are starting to come back to earth. The Philadelphia Phillies swept a doubleheader on Sunday while the Mets were swept by the lowly San Francisco Giants. The Phils are now 1.5 games behind the Mets.

The San Diego Padres are 0-7 for the week. In spite of the pitching of Randy Jones and Brent Strom, they are really struggling right now.

The St. Louis Cardinals had a 5 game losing streak to fall to 5th in the NL East.

Dave Lopes is really scuffling. He has been in an 0 for 37 slump in the last 10 days.

John Montefusco pitched 2 straight shutouts
