1976 National League - Week 9 in Review

The New York Mets and the Cincinnati Reds continue to lead their divisions. The St. Louis Cardinals had a tough week and fell to third place. The Phillies are trying to keep pace with the Mets while the Pirates and Cubs continue to tread water. The NL West already looks like a blowout as the Reds and Dodgers are the only teams above .500 and the Reds have a 12-game lead over the Dodgers.

There hasn't been a lot of change on the leaderboards. Tom Seaver and Gary Nolan seem to win on the same day and maintain their league lead in victories. Seaver is having a Cy Young Award year so far as he leads the NL in wins and strikeouts and is in the top ten in ERA.
