Player of the Day: Mike Cubbage doubled in two runs in the first inning of a 5-4 Minnesota Twins victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Pitcher of the Day: Bill Campbell pitched a scoreless 9th inning to earn his ninth save of the season.
